Tonya Ingram Obituary – Death: Bronx-Raised Poet, Tonya Ingram is Dead: According to an online obituary on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, Tonya Ingram has passed away unexpectedly. However, cause of death was not disclosed.
Tonya has been honored at the Getty Museum, Madison Square Garden, San Francisco Opera House, Nuyorican Poets Café, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Lexus Verses and the Flow variety show, and The Price is Right*. The New York Times, Vice i-D, Bustle and Marie Claire’s online and brick-and-mortar sites; and school classrooms in the U.S. and Ghana, to name a few.Her viral collaboration with BuzzFeed, “An Open Letter to My Depression,” has garnered over 4 million views and is also is increasing.
