Kaiyah was a Benedict College sophomore, and sports management major.

The college on Tuesday, mourn the tragic and unexpected death of Kaiyah Seawright, via a statement shared on Facebook.

“The entire Benedict College family deeply mourns the tragic loss of our fallen Tiger, Kaiyah Horton-Seawright,” the statement read. “Kaiyah was a beloved student and the daughter of Benedict staff member, Cohran Seawright. As a community, we ask that you keep the family and classmates of Kaiyah in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Details of her “Celebration of Life” service are provided.”
