Philip Lamont Death – Obituary: In Loving Memory of Philip Lamont: According to an online obituary on Saturday, February 11, 2023, Philip Lamont has passed away unexpectedly. However, cause of death was not disclosed.
Stacey, Philip daughter wrote; “It’s with such sadness I have to post this notice that my dad, Philip, passed away last night after a long battle with cancer. He loved this community…he loved working with both the horses and the people! All anyone had to do was listen to him talk about what he’d been up to that day and where all he’d been, to know how much he thrived off being around horses. Towards the end when he couldn’t be up and at it any more, this was the part of life he missed the most. The positive energy he was always surrounded by, coupled with the desire to do everything to the best of his ability, made him a force to be reckoned with. I know without a doubt his will be big boots to fill.”
A Service will be held in Fleming & Cuthbert Funeral Home, 141 Mill Road, Ballyclare, BT39 9DZ on Thursday 16th February at 10.45 a.m., followed by interment in Rashee Cemetery.
