Dan Walker Car Accident: UK presenter “glad to be alive” following car-bicycle collision in London.
Dan Walker, a TV host, said he is “glad to be alive” after he was hit by a car while riding his bike.
The former BBC Breakfast host, who now works for Channel 5, posted pictures from inside an ambulance of his bloody face on social media.
Mr. Walker, who lives in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and is 45 years old, said, “There was a bit of an accident this morning. After getting hit by a car while riding my bike, I’m glad to be alive.

“Face is all messed up, but I don’t think anything is broken.”
After the accident on Moore Street in the center of Sheffield on Monday morning, the photos were taken in a Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) car with two staff members.
Mr. Walker said this about the emergency services: “Thanks to Shaun and Jamie for helping me out, and thanks to the nice police officer who was there.” This is me putting on a smile. “We’re grateful for our NHS.”
