Kameron Casto Car Accident – Obituary News: In loving memory of Bringhurst man killed in Carroll County crash.
Kameron was such an amazing person. He will be sorely missed.
On Sunday night, a single-car accident in Carroll County killed one person and hurt three more.
At about 5:30 p.m., Carroll County E911 got a call about a crash on CR 500 South, west of CR 50 East, near the township of Cutler. When first responders got there, they saw three injured people outside of the car. The vehicle, a white 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck, still had a fourth person inside.
Kameron Casto, who was a passenger in the car and was 30 years old and from Bringhurst, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was a 25-year-old man from Cutler named Devin Taber. Taber is still in the hospital, and his condition is unknown. Christa Marvin, who is 21, is still in a hospital in Fort Wayne. Kaleb Taber, who is 23 years old, has been sent home from the hospital. Both Marvin and Kalen Taber were riding in the car.
People who were at the scene said they saw the truck going faster west on CR 500 South from the 50 East area. The truck left the north side of CR 500 South and rolled into a line of trees for no known reason. At least one person was thrown out of the truck.
Police say that alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
