Tom Love Obituary – Cause of Death: Founder and executive chair of Love’s Travel Stops dies at 85.
Tom, with his beloved wife Judy, led the family-owned and operated business for 59 years, growing it from one store in 1964 to a network of more than 600 stores across the U.S. today.
The founder of the Oklahoma-based convenience store network has passed away at the age of 85, the company announced on Tuesday.
“It is with heavy hearts, we announce Tom Love, founder and executive chair of Love’s Travel Stops has passed away at age 85,” the company said in a statement shared via a Facebook post.
His cause of death was not disclosed.
“Tom’s work revolutionized the convenience store industry and changed many lives for the better. He was known for and will be remembered for his genuine humility and sincere heart.”
