Cash Martin, resident of Columbia MO and a student of Rock Bridge High School was involved in a fatal motorycle accident which claimed his life. Cash Martin death was announced on March 7, 2023. He died at the age of 15.
Around 12:30 pm, Cash Martin, 15, lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on West Nifong Boulevard involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
“This is tragic and unexpected news for our CPS and Bruin families,” CPS spokesperson Michelle Baumstark said. “Words cannot express how difficult it is to lose one of our students. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the student’s family.”
The motorcycle was moving west on Nifong, while a 2015 Toyota RAV4 was moving east, according to CPD’s Traffic Section. The two cars crashed as the SUV was turning left into a private drive.
Martin slammed into the Toyota from the passenger side, and the impact caused him to fly off the motorcycle, according to CPD.
According to CPD, the SUV’s driver denied medical attention from paramedics.
