The woman who sadly perished in a paddleboard accident at Conwy Morfa on Thursday night was identified by the North Wales Police on Friday as 24-year-old Emma Louise Powell from the Llandudno region.
At around 10:14 p.m. on July 14, police said they received a call reporting a party of paddleboarders having trouble in the water off Conwy Morfa.
Officers assisted coworkers from the HM Coastguard, RNLI, and Welsh Ambulance as they cared for three incident victims, according to the police.
Unfortunately, one of the victims later identified as Powell passed away at the hospital after being transported to Ysbyty Gwynedd in an ambulance with another casualty.
Emma is regarded as a charming young woman who had a free spirit and an adventurous nature.
