Timothy Slachta Obituary: The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office reported on May 10 that a Pennsylvania man, 48, had perished in what seemed to be a parachuting mishap.
At at 1:16 p.m., Monroe Township police were called to the intersection of Kippen and Castlebay roads where they discovered Timothy Joseph Slachta, the deceased victim.
The prosecutor stated that Slachta had left SkyDrive Cross Keys in Williamstown. The prosecutor’s office, Monroe police, and the Federal Aviation Administration are all still looking into what caused the parachute to malfunction.
