Fortune Williams Car Accident: Teen girl killed after car crashes into a UPS truck in Queens.
Fortune Williams has been confirmed as the adolescent BMW passenger who perished in a Queens car accident on Wednesday night involving a UPS truck.
Williams, 14, lost his life in a multi-vehicle accident involving a delivery truck and a semi-tractor on Wednesday night. The crash also resulted in injuries to a pedestrian.
Reports said that about 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday, a male driver, 16, was driving a red BMW sedan around 160th Street on North Conduit Avenue at a high rate of speed when the vehicle collided with a UPS truck in the rear. The pedestrian was subsequently struck by the BMW as they were attempting to enter the semi-tractor.
Williams, who was ejected from the car during the collision, was declared dead at the scene from blunt force trauma injuries.
The juvenile BMW driver was taken in stable condition to a local hospital. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and is doing OK.
The tractor-trailer’s driver was not hurt and stayed at the site.
