In a somber announcement, it has been reported that Micky Geller, a beloved son, has passed away, leaving those who knew him with a deep sense of sorrow. A proud member of the Junior National Waterski team, he not only competed but also earned medals for Team Canada.
Ranked 6th in the world in U21 Jump, Micky had a passion for soaring off the ramp. During his younger years, he dedicated himself to gymnastics before transitioning to rock climbing and waterskiing.
During his leisure hours, Micky relished the companionship of his intimate acquaintances, indulged in motorcycling and snowmobiling, engaged in profound discussions and debates, and simply relaxed.
Micky, with his full throttle approach to life, has experienced more in his 18 years than many ever will. According to the individual, he had only begun to scratch the surface of the potential opportunities that awaited him.
Micky was loved by many due to his generous nature. The individual in question will be commemorated for their outstanding qualities of empathy, passion, strength, fearlessness, drive, discipline, and boundless potential.
Micky’s surviving family members include his parents, Bobbiann and Mitch, his sister Chloe, and his grandparents Mary Ann and Bob Cormack, Bob and Lynn Macpherson, and Larry Geller (along with the late Nancy Geller). Additionally, Micky is survived by his beloved dogs Sandy and Daisy, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and teammates.
According to the announcement, a funeral service is scheduled to take place for Micky on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 1pm. The service will be held at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, located at 150 Woodroffe Avenue in Ottawa. The interment will follow.
