Adrian Roebuck Obituary News: Security guard killed in shooting outside The Kave, a Knoxville nightclub.
Just after 4:00 A.M. on Saturday, Knoxville police officers were called to a gunshot at The Kave, 2131 E. Magnolia near Olive Street in East Knoxville.
When police arrived, they discovered that shots had been fired outside of The Kave, according to the police.
Adrian Roebuck, a 25-year-old, was discovered in the parking lot with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where, according to authorities, he was later declared dead.
Roebuck worked for the nightclub as an armed security guard.
It is suspected that the shooting was targeted, albeit it is not thought that the victim was the intended target, according to the investigation conducted by the Knoxville Police Department Homicide Unit, authorities said.
A second gunshot victim arrived at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in a personal vehicle while police officers were on the scene. According to the police, the victim was stabilized before being taken to UTMC.
