On a Victorian highway, a terrible head-on collision claimed the life of a woman.
At around 11.30 am on Friday, emergency services were summoned in response to reports of a car and semi-trailer collision on the Murray Valley Highway in Nathalia.
The car’s female driver, whose identity has not yet been officially confirmed, passed away at the site.
The truck’s 49-year-old driver from Charleston, New South Wales, stopped at the site unharmed. They have spoken with police, who are attempting to determine how the head-on collision occurred.
Police are asking anyone who saw the collision or who might have dashcam video to get in touch.
