Tabor Lock Obituary / University of Indianapolis Student Car Accident: Late Thursday night in Cass County, a car smashed into a tree, killing a 19-year-old Niles man and badly injuring a 20-year-old Edwardsburg man.
In Jefferson Township, the collision happened on Dailey Road close to Yankee Street around 11 p.m. According to Michigan State Police, the driver, a 20-year-old Edwardsburg man, lost control of the vehicle while driving south on Dailey Road, veered off the road, and collided with a tree.
The passenger, 19-year-old Niles resident Tabor Lock, was declared deceased at the site. For significant wounds, the driver was rushed to the hospital.
The accident is still being looked into. Although MSP claims that both males were wearing seatbelts, they think that speed and alcohol had a role in the collision.
