Alexander John Ripka and William Alexander Flores-Zamora Car Accident – Obituary News: Two dead head-on crash on I-694 in Oakdale; Another two including a 3-year-old injured.
Two men died and a kid was hurt in a head-on collision that happened early on Thursday morning on Interstate 694 in Oakdale, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
According to the state police website, the collision happened just before 2:30 a.m. at the Stillwater Boulevard exit when a southbound Toyota Corolla driving in the northbound lanes collided head-on with a northbound Pontiac Vibe. According to authorities, the Pontiac then allegedly swerved and struck a northbound Mercedes Benz Sprinter van.
Both the 32-year-old driver of the Pontiac and the 28-year-old Corolla driver, William Alexander Flores-Zamora of St. Paul, were reported dead by MSP. Nevaeh Lorraine Ripka, a 3-year-old passenger in the Pontiac who is also from Rice, was airlifted to Gillette Children’s Hospital with critical wounds.
Ibrahim Theophile, the Sprinter van’s 35-year-old Buffalo, New York, driver, was also sent with minor wounds to Regions Hospital.
