Anna Mooney Death: Victim identified in fatal stabbing in the Kilbarrack Road area in Raheny.
A guy in his 50s has been detained after a woman’s body was discovered at a Dublin residence.
Just after one in the morning this morning, the Garda and the emergency services were called to the property in Raheny’s Kilbarrack Road neighborhood.
It is believed that the 40-year-old woman died in a “violent” manner. At the time of the occurrence, there were two other kids in the house, but they escaped unharmed.
The Garda Technical Bureau will investigate the situation while it is still active. The woman’s body has now been taken to the morgue in the city for a post-mortem investigation.
The victim knows the man, who was detained at the residence on suspicion of murder and is in his 50s.
He’s being detained at a garda station in north Dublin right now.
