Grayson Boggs Obituary: 6-year-old Grayson Boggs dies a month after being injured by lightening strike that killed his dad.
On Monday, May 15, lightning struck a 34-year-old man named Matthew Boggs, killing him and perhaps causing brain damage to his 6-year-old son Grayson. This occurred while Matthew and his two sons, Grayson, 11, and Elijah, 11, were returning home from the Valley Mills bus stop.
“At approximately 5:10, Monday evening, May 15,2023, Matthew, Grayson, and Elijah were walking down the driveway after getting off the bus, when lightning came out of the sky without warning, and entered Matthew’s body and traveled to Grayson, since they were holding hands. It is with a sad heart that I let you know the father, Matthew Boggs, 34, of Valley Mills, TX, did not make it,” a GoFundMe page created for the Boggs family read.
On June 16th, Grayson went to be with our Lord and his father at 5:05am.
