Anna Meyers, Ashley Wyatt, and Josiah Phillips Obituary News – Car Accident: Three killed, one injured following Saturday night crash in Jefferson County.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking into a crash that happened Saturday night and resulted in three fatalities and one injury.
Deputies responded to a report of a car accident in the 7800 block of Blackie Curren Road in western Jefferson County shortly before 10 o’clock.
When they arrived, they discovered a black Honda Civic that had crashed into a gully after losing control.
Three people in the car—the female driver, a male and a female passenger—were all declared deceased at the site. Another male passenger who had been hurt was transferred to UAB Medical Center.
The victims are now identified as Anna Meyers, Ashley Wyatt, and Josiah Phillips.
An investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident is being done by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team.
