Steven Raney Obituary News: Missing Clearwater County Motorcyclist Found dead by Campers in the area of Morris Creek Road
After he went missing on Saturday, June 17, deputies with the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office are looking into the death of a motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist, Steven Raney, was delayed to return from the Elk River ATV Fun Run when his fiance, Natasha Mael, reported him missing, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.
According to the police, Natasha described Steven as a skilled rider who was familiar with the area. She also pointed out that he was using a helmet while riding. On Saturday night, deputies and search and rescue teams were sent to the region to look for Steven, but they were unsuccessful in their efforts.
Campers passing by Morris Creek Road early the next morning discovered Steven dead. According to deputies, his family and fiancée have been informed.
Steven’s death is currently being looked into as an accident.
