Audra Demolitor Obituary News: Suspect arrested in Langdon murder | Scott Demolitor arrest & charges.
The man suspect who was detained and the female victim who died have both been identified in an addendum to last week’s press release on a homicide in Langdon from the Langdon and Strathmore RCMP.
According to the RCMP update, Langdon resident Scott Demolitor, 31, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Audra Demolitor, 56.
According to the report, Scott Demolitor was remanded into custody during a Judicial Interim Release hearing and will appear in Alberta Court of Justice on June 20, 2023, in Strathmore.
On May 26, shortly after noon, mounties from the two towns responded to a 911 call regarding an alleged assault at a Langdon residence. When they arrived, Audra Demolitor was not moving.
According to the RCMP, Audra eventually passed away from her wounds while receiving medical care. The Chief Medical Examiner’s office in Calgary conducted an autopsy on June 8.
