Lazarus Towa, a Humanitarian Development Advocate with a passion to reduce unemployment rates for youths in Papua New Guinea has passed away.
Towa’s death was announced via multiple social media post on Monday, June 12, 2023.
“We are all shocked and saddened to hear of this great PNGean’s sudden passing tonight,” a social media post read. “Lazarus Towa had a big heart. He was selfless. The work he did contributed immensely to building, improving and impacting people’s lives for the better. Too young to leave too soon.”
His cause of death was not disclosed.
“Mr Towa has always gone out of his way and helped ALOT of young men and women in PNG to look for jobs, to better themselves, to change their mindsets for the better. A great mentor indeed.”
He will be missed.
