It is with a very heavy heart that we advise the sad passing of Mark Edser.
Mark (Wally)was a Cheetah through and through having played both sub juniors and juniors with Waratah before graduating to grade in 1973, where he played at the highest level. Following his time with Waratah, Mark also played several years with the Shortland Devils and was highly respected by everyone he played with and against.
The Edser family have been associated with the Maroon and Gold family for well over sixty years with both Marks brothers Ron & John donning the Waratah Jersey .We will miss his smiles.
He will be sadly missed by all.
Funeral arrangements are still being finalised and will be advised in due course.
