It is with great sadness, that we announce our loving, strong and courageous mother, grandmother and sister, Theresa James, passed away this morning after a three-year battle with metastatic breast cancer. She fought cancer like a warrior but in the past two months, cancer spread to the fluid around her spinal cord which was just too much to overcome. We are so appreciative for the doctors and staff at Nebraska Cancer Specialists and CHI Health along with the amazing compassion she received at the Josie Harper Hospice House. Mom loved her family, friends, co-workers and generally everyone she came to know. We love you, we will miss you and we will think about you every day for the rest of our lives. Rest easy Mom and tell Dad I say hi.
