Constance Marten Baby Missing Report: Police find remains of missing aristocrat’s baby in Sussex woodland.
The investigator in charge of the inquiry has revealed that during the hunt for the missing two-month-old kid of Constance Marten and Mark Gordon, the bones of a baby have been discovered. The baby was discovered in woodland close to where the pair was apprehended, according to Met Police and Sussex Police officers.
Now, a post-mortem will be performed. While investigations are ongoing, a cordon will be in place for an extended period of time, according to the police.
Investigators have requested that individuals refrain from making assumptions about the circumstances of this case since doing so could jeopardize any upcoming legal actions.
At 7 o’clock in the evening, Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford issued a statement to the media in which he stated: “Additional to the update made earlier today, there has been a significant development.
I have the very sad responsibility to inform you that this afternoon, while conducting a search in a forested area not far from where Constance Marten and Mark Gordon were apprehended, police officers found a baby’s bones.
In due course, a post-mortem examination will be conducted.
