Kacey Sciberras, 17, was the woman who perished in a car accident early on Sunday morning.
The 17-year-old woman was a passenger in a Chevrolet Aveo that was involved in a Central Link project incident at 3 in the morning when the driver lost control and slammed into a wall and a pole in Tumas Chetcuti Street.
She passed away there and there. The driver, a 20-year-old St Paul’s Bay male, and a second 17-year-old Attard woman both sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
On social media, condolences for Sciberras quickly gained popularity.
Condolences were also sent from the Institute of Tourism Studies, where Sciberras was a student and a member of the student council.
