According to reports, a Filipino-Chinese bilyonaryo died tragically after eating at the Golden Bay Fresh Seafood Restaurant on Sunday.
Unconfirmed reports claim that the deceased billionaire, who was linked to the head of a government agency, died after apparently falling in the restaurant’s elevator, which was thought to be broken.
According to a Babbler, the late bilyonaryo has left a vacuum in the Filipino-Chinese society. He was well-known for building a high-rise condominium in Greenhills and for having business connections in the plastic and motorbike industries.
Golden Bay Resto, however, swiftly issued a statement warning against the disseminating of “false and unverified information” regarding the incident that happened on May 7, 2023, around dinnertime at their location.
While Golden Bay Resto withheld particular information about what it referred to as a “incident,” they made general references to worries about “safety and security.”
Golden Bay Resto accepted in their statement the bereaved family’s need for privacy and chose not to share any additional details with the public, but they also pledged their complete cooperation with the authorities in their ongoing inquiry.
The eatery expressed concern over potential damage to their reputation and the invasion of the privacy of the parties involved, highlighting the fact that the deceased and their friends were devoted patrons of the business.
