Nicholas Jozefowski Obituary News: Johnson Creek man dies after apparent electrocution at Ford dealership in Cudahy.
On Wednesday, a man died at Ewald’s Venus Ford in Cudahy following what appears to have been an electrocution.
The 2700 block of East Layton Avenue received a response from police and fire services on Wednesday at around 3:30 p.m. for a worker who had been hurt, according to the Cudahy Police Department. Nicholas Jozefowski, 42, of Johnson Creek, was the victim, and he was pronounced dead there. He was allegedly working on an electrical system when he was discovered unconscious.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office (MCMEO) reported that Jozefowski was replacing overhead lights when a coworker discovered him unconscious on a scissor lift. He suffered burns on his hands and face, according to MCMEO, and a wire was hanging from the ceiling above him.
Jozefowski spent the previous five years employed by the dealership as a general maintenance worker.
