Glastonbury Car Accident: Glastonbury High School senior identified among two killed in Glastonbury crash.
Authorities have now identified one of the two people killed in a two-vehicle collision that happened on Sunday evening in Glastonbury as 18-year-old Gordon Southby.
Southby was a senior at Glastonbury High School.
Southby was operating the motorcycle involved in the collision with a sport-utility vehicle on Hebron Avenue, police said. Southby was taken to Hartford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Capt. Mark Catania said.
The second victim killed in the crash is only identified as a 15-year-old, back-seat passenger in the SUV.
“Gordon was very intelligent and charismatic and will be greatly missed.”
