Russell Heath Cortez Car Accident: Victim identified in fatal McAllen auto-pedestrian collision.
The McAllen Police have now identified the victim of a fatal auto-pedestrian collision that happened in McAllen on Wednesday night, October 12, 2022, as 48-year-old Russell Heath Cortez.
The accident occurred at around 9:16 p.m. on the 200 block of West Expressy 83 in McAllen, police said.
The driver remained at the scene, according to the department’s media release.
McAllen Police are investigating the auto-pedestrian accident.
