Emily Wegner Obituary – Cause of Death: Kiel Middle School teacher, Emily Wegner dies unexpectedly.
Emily Wegner, a seventh grade math teacher at Kiel Middle School has passed away unexpectedly, District Administrator Dr. Brad Ebert announced Friday afternoon.
Wegner has been with Kiel Middle School since 2014.
“It is with great sadness that I write this letter today. The school district learned this morning that Emily Wegner, a highly respected seventh grade math teacher that had been with the district since 2014, passed away unexpectedly. This news is devastating for all of us within our school community. I can share from personal experience that Emily made great connections with our students, was an exceptional educator, and built so many incredibly positive relationships with her co-workers. Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this time,” Dr. Ebert said in an e-mail sent to parents, staff and community members.
