Kaleen Car Accident: Man dies in solo car-crash near Macumba Place.
A 24-year-old guy was killed overnight in Kaleen after colliding with a tree. The accident raises the death toll on ACT roads to 18, the highest number in more than ten years.
According to ACT Policing, the incident took place on Saturday at around 10 p.m. The man struck a tree close to Macumba Place while driving a white Nissan Navara utility vehicle north along Maribyrnong Avenue in Kaleen.
Police were called, however this morning they reported that the man died at the scene after suffering serious injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
