Parents and guardians of Mill Creek High School received a letter from principal Jason Lane late on Sunday night informing them that social workers and counselors would be present at the school on Monday to support the mourning students.

I’m writing to let you know about the untimely death of a Mill Creek High student over the weekend,” Lane wrote. “As they deal with this enormous personal loss, our hearts and thoughts are with the student’s family, friends, and loved ones. We will have a solemn moment of quiet on Monday in honor of our student, classmate, and friend.”
