Car Accident Newry: Man dies following tractor-car collision in Newry.
Following a car and tractor incident in Newry earlier today, a man has passed away.
On Friday, November 4, soon after 8:40 am, reports of a collision involving a tractor and a grey SAAB 93 automobile led to calls to the emergency services for the A1 Northbound.
A man tragically passed away at the scene of the accident. Following the collision, the northbound lane was shut down for a while but has since reopened.
According to Sergeant Harrison, shortly after 8:40am on Friday 4 th November, it was reported that a tractor and a grey SAAB 93 car were involved in the incident. Sadly, the man died at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
