The victim has been named as Birmingham resident Isaiah Randall Harris, 22, by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
Investigators from the Birmingham Police Department are of the opinion that a man was shot and died while perhaps playing computer games at a party.
When BPD officers arrived on the scene in the 1900 block of Huntington Lane just after 6:30 p.m. on April 17, they discovered the man inside a home with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
According to the authorities, the victim passed away at the site.
The victim and another person apparently got into a fight while possibly playing video games in a different room, according to the BPD, after which other occupants of the house heard gunshots.
At the moment, nobody is in custody.
