Christian Sanchez Obituary – Cause of Death: Man killed following home invasion in Stanislaus County.
According to Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, on September 27, 2022, at 6:00 a.m., officers responded to the 2600 block of Gondring Road in Ceres for a report of a possible home invasion with a gunshot victim. Upon arrival to the location, deputies located 22-year-old Christian Sanchez with life-threatening injuries and began providing him aid.
Sanchez was transported by ambulance to an area hospital where he was ultimately pronounced deceased.
Family members said they were woken up by a loud commotion that they determined to be unknown subjects with guns in the home. During the altercation, Sanchez was shot, at which time the suspects immediately fled the area by unknown means, authorities said.
The Major Crimes Unit was activated and responded with the Crime Scene Unit to take over the investigation.
