Clay Wenzlick Car Accident – Obituary: Elsie man dies following “tragic” two-vehicle collision in Bingham Township.
According to a news statement from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, an Elsie teen was killed when his car collided with a semitruck at the intersection of M-21 and Krepps Road on Friday morning.
According to Undersheriff Mike Gute’s statement in the news release, Clay Wenzlick, 19, was declared deceased at the scene.
About 6:17 a.m., the collision took place. Gute stated so Friday morning.
Wenzlick said that he was hit by the tractor-trailer while he was traveling south on Krepps Road in a 2017 Volkswagen Passat. A 61-year-old Birch Run resident was operating the truck as it traveled west on M-21.
