Sean Gleason Obituary Liverpool, NY: Pedestrian killed after being struck by vehicle in Town of Clay.

According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, a pedestrian was murdered after being hit by an SUV on Route 57 at Long Branch Road in the Town of Clay.

According to the sheriff’s office, on November 23, at around 5:18 p.m., deputies, firefighters from Moyers Corners and NOVA Ambulance responded to the 7300 block of Oswego Road for a report of an SUV accident involving a person being struck.

Deputies discovered an injured man who was unconscious in the road when they got on the scene. The victim was transferred to Upstate University Hospital where, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, he passed away shortly after.

Further investigation led investigators to the conclusion that the victim was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a 2005 Buick Ranier that was moving north in the left lane.

The driver of the Buick, a 64-year-old Fulton man, was not hurt, according to deputies, and he is helping them with their investigation.
