Bruce Stapleton, Founding Member of Teesside Ten Pin Bowling League is Dead

Bruce Stapleton Death – Obituary: According to an online obituary on Thursday, December 1, 2022, Bruce Stapleton has passed away unexpectedly. However, cause of death was not disclosed.

According to his GoFundme page, Bruce Stapleton was a very well known Stocktonian and Teessider. Whether that be for selling the Gazettes outside Woolworths, Littlewoods and even some places in Middlesbrough or his love for Bingo and the pub… Bruce has touched many peoples lives for many different reasons. Sadly he recently suddenly passed away after a short illness

Life didn’t always treat him well and often some people were cruel towards Bruce, however he gave it his all and stood in all weathers selling those papers to earn his crust. He unfortunately fell out of work when the Gazette wrapped up their vendors selling outside in all weather.

Now is our time as a community to give back in memory of Bruce.. The Government will give just £1500 Support towards his funeral and the rest must be made by the family. A basic funeral cost is around £3,000. Bruce had no life insurance, nobody expected his death as it was very sudden.
