Morning his death, Josh Grogan wrote;
Usually I have words for about any situation, but today I’m lost for words and just lost in general. I don’t understand why, I don’t understand why this had to happen to such a wonderful human being! Yes we lived in 2 different states, yes it was like 3.5 hours away, but it never seemed like it. We texted and talked weekly. We visited each other when time allowed! The picture below is who we where as a family. This was more than just friends!
My heart is truly broken, me and Nicole Grogan lost a very important person in our lives. Yes they say time will heal all, it may make the pain less but it will never go away!
Until we meet again Tony Phillips, save me a spot on the sidelines in heaven! I promise this time I won’t lose the shirt 
!
