Corcoran Car Accident: Two killed in two-vehicle crash west of Corcoran.
Two persons were killed in a head-on collision Tuesday night near 10th and Niles Avenues west of Corcoran, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Just before 7:00 p.m., police were alerted to a collision between a Ford Escape and a Toyota Camry.
Bystanders allegedly burned themselves while removing the Ford’s driver from the flaming car through the sunroof.
After being brought to Community Regional Medical Center, the driver passed away. The Toyota’s 26-year-old driver was declared deceased at the scene.
Although the collision is still under investigation, it is not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role.
