Authorities have now identified one of the two teenagers who died in a single-vehicle car crash near Brentmeade Boulevard on Saturday, March 18, as 19-year-old driver Joshua Chin-Curlee.
According to Brentwood police, officers responded to the scene of the crash which happened at the intersection of Jones Parkway near Brentmeade Boulevard at about 2 p.m.
Upon officers arrival at the scene, they discovered two teenagers, Chin-Curlee and a 14-year-old inside a vehicle which had burst into flames.
The fire was put out by Brentwood Fire and Rescue Department crews, but both youngsters were declared deceased at the site.
According to the preliminary investigation, the car was moving north on Jones Parkway when it veered off the road close to Brentmeade Boulevard, hit a tree, and caught fire.
Investigations are ongoing.
