Ty Joseph Wells Death – Obituary: According to an online obituary on Monday, January 30, 2023, Ty Wells has passed away unexpectedly. However, cause of death was not disclosed.

Born Ty Joseph Wells in December 1999 to Joseph and Sandra Wells in Mountain View, Calif…Has a sister, Jessica…Enjoys watching TV, playing cards, and being with friends in his free time…Plans to major in Physiology to pursue a career in physical therapy or sports medicine to help others…chose Arizona over Indiana, California Baptist, UOP, and Utah because it is the “best all-around school, with a great campus, great team, great culture, and the BEST coaches.”

A four-time letterwinner in swimming and water polo…The 2017 and 2018 First Team MVP…Earned a bronze medal in the 100 fly and 100 breast at CIF Sections…Holds the school record in the 100 fly, 100 breast, 50 free, 200 and 400 free relay, and 200 medley relay…Graduated high school with over a 4.0 GPA.

2021-2022: Three personal bests at the 2022 Pac-12 Championship swimming the 50 Y breast (24.63), 100 Y breast (53.08) and the 200 Y breast (1:58.87)…NCAA B cut qualifier…Fastest time on the team in the 50 Y breast…

2020-21: Held team’s 3rd fastest time in the 100 breast with a time of 53.46, an NCAA B cut…

2019-20: Swam a personal best at Pac-12 Championships in the 100 breast with a time of 53.27, an NCAA B cut…Personal best in the 200 breast with a time of 1:59.51…

2018-19: Held the fourth-fastest Wildcat time in 100 Breast (53.91) which was also fast enough for an NCAA B cut…
