James Flynn Obituary – Cause of Death: Co-producer of ‘The Banshees of Inisherin,’ James Flynn dies at 57.
An online obituary on Sunday, February 12, 2023, announced the passing of distinguished Irish film producer James Flynn at the age of 57. His cause of death was not disclosed.
Ed Guiney, who was nominated for an Oscar and worked with Flynn on the movie Sweety Barrett more than 20 years ago, told the Irish Times about him.
“James was a wonderful person, a brilliant producer – he had an encyclopedic knowledge of film and was the smartest of all of my generation of producers. He made massive contributions to the industry at the Film Board, as a member of Screen Producers Ireland and as a producer,” Ed Guiney said.
