Lee Whitlock Death – Lee Whitlock, British television and film actor has reportedly passed away at the age of 54 on February 17, 2023. However, details regarding his cause of death is still unknown.
In 1980, when he was just 12 years old, he made his debut on the British television series The Gentle Touch. In the television series Shine on Harvey Moon, he played the role of Stanley Moon, the son of Harvey Moon. The same year, he also featured in The Merry Wives of Windsor as Robin, Falstaff’s page. In 1983, he appeared in an episode of the television series Dramarama.
In 1987, he had a small role in the British film Wish You Were Here, which was directed by David Leland. The following year, he became more well-known for his role in the television drama Two of Us, which was about a homosexual romance between two high school students. The year after that, he starred in Beginning Out, a series for schools produced by Central Television, alongside Chris Gascoyne, who was famous for his role on Coronation Street.
In the television movie Young Charlie Chaplin directed by Bazz Taylor and starring Whitlock, Whitlock gave one of his most memorable performances as Sydney Chaplin, Charlie Chaplin’s older half-brother. The film was released in 1989.
Other well-known television shows in which he has appeared include Split Ends, EastEnders, Harry Enfield’s Television Programme, Lovejoy, Soldier Soldier, Boon, Grange Hill, A Touch of Frost, The Detectives, Silent Witness, McCallum, Casualty, London’s Burning, and The Bill. In addition, he has appeared in the movies. In the 2007 film Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, in which Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter also acted, he had a supporting role as a police officer. Whitlock also played the character of Little Joe in the short film made by W.I.Z. and based on the song “Weekender” by Flowered Up, which was released in 1992.
