Dana Hersl, a Baltimore, Maryland, inhabitant, regrettably passed away on March 1st, 2023. She had an impact on many people’s lives and led a life marked by boundless love and selflessness.

“Dana Hersl was always the sweetest to me, and I’ve known her for as long as I’ve been active with the animal rescue. The most difficult time with my sadness and darkest moments with the loss of my mother as she too spoke of the loss of her mother, recently reached out to me on several occasions.”
Katie Drayer mentioned, “We will always miss you, Dana. We appreciate your love for our family and your efforts to make my brother and Cooper happy. God removed a good person far too soon.”
Dana Hersl, a 41-year-old Baltimore, Maryland resident, was a single mother. She received her undergraduate studies at Towson University and finished it at Notre Dame University. She was adored by her neighbors and well-known for her kindness and generosity. She was well-known for her love of helping others and her dedication to volunteering at neighborhood charities and organizations.
Dana Hersl shared my passion for animals and actively participated in their care and rescue. She was dedicated about assisting animals in need and helped at the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS).
Dana Hersl was not just an active volunteer but also a successful businesswoman. She had a small cleaning business in her community and was well recognized for her commitment to her profession.
