A LIFE FORCE helicopter crashed in North Carolina on Thursday at 7 o’clock. Updates on the crash have been made by LIFE FORCE and Erlanger.
All four survivors of the crash, according to James Coleman, president and chief executive of Erlanger. He said that one crew member had been evaluated and released from the hospital.
Coleman reported that the other three involved are receiving stable care in a hospital run by Mission Health.
All LIFE FORCE operations, according to Erlanger VP of Patient Logistics Robbie Tester, are currently halted. They will continue to be suspended, according to him, “until workers feel ready to return to service.”
On social media, LIFE FORCE Air Medical reported that they were unaware of the cause of the accident. But they assert that safety is their main priority.
“We are working with other air medical providers around the region to continue providing patient care transportation while our program is temporarily grounded,” LIFE FORCE said in a statement shared on social media.
