Luke Cooper Obituary – Car Accident: Moon Area High School student, hockey player killed in Franklin Park crash.
On Thursday March 22, 2023, 18-year-old Luke Cooper of Crescent was involved in a tragically fatal car accident on I-79.
According to reports, Cooper was the driver of the vehicle in the crash which occurred at about 10 p.m. in Franklin Park, just north of the I-279 split.
Cooper was pronounced dead at the crash scene, while his passenger, an 18-year-old male, was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He was a young vibrant soul with a contagious smile left this earth way too soon. He was an energetic young man who had a love for hockey! Those that have seen him play could see it in his face with the sparkle in his eyes that lit up the rink.
