After rear-ending a car and then a semi-truck on Interstate 35 in Lakeville, a 39-year-old Burnsville man was killed.
Around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Mark Elliot Pasvogel, 39, rear-ended a 2020 Toyota Corolla while operating a 2022 Lincoln Aviator near 210th Street West in Lakeville. The Minnesota State Patrol claims that the driver fled the site of the collision and continued, rear-ending a semi-truck and trailer at “a high rate of speed.”
Then, his car veered off the road, crossed into the median, ran over a cable fence, and began to roll. Pasvogel was thrown from the car and passed away there and then. According to the State Patrol, he wasn’t using a seatbelt, and it’s thought that drinking contributed to the collisions.
The two collisions did not cause any other injuries.
