Rhiannon Drake Car Accident: Warragul woman killed in Darnum car accident on Princes Freeway.
The deceased victim in a fatal collision involving three cars and a small truck on the Princes Freeway at Darnum, east of Melbourne on Monday is now identified as Rhiannon Drake of Warragul, Victoria.
Around 8:40 am, according to the police, a collision happened on the motorway at the Bona Vista Road exit.
The woman, who was riding in a Jeep with four-wheel drive, Rhiannon Drake passed away there and then.
The Jeep’s 32-year-old female driver was airlifted to the hospital with critical injuries. A teenage girl with significant injuries who was riding in the back seat was taken to the hospital.
Paramedics evaluated two guys at the site who were in a second car.
A third vehicle’s female driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening wounds.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are conducting an investigation there.
The truck driver is allegedly helping the police with their inquiries.
