Knoxville Shooting: Two injured following Saturday afternoon shooting at E. Amanda Street and Brownsville Road.
In Knoxville, there was a gunshot that resulted in two injuries. At 1:35 on Saturday, police, fire, and EMS units were dispatched to the intersection of E. Amanda Street and Brownsville Road, according to Allegheny County 911.
Outside the Triangle Mart convenience store, there were several evidence markers that displayed the gunshots that erupted throughout the neighborhood.
Police discovered a man who had been shot in the right hip when they arrived. A second man had been admitted to a hospital with a gunshot wound to his left shoulder, they were informed later.
According to Pittsburgh Police, someone in a moving car fired shots at a crowd of people on a sidewalk, who then retaliated with their own shots. At the scene of the accident, police discovered a gun inside a smashed car. They think that whoever was in the car left on foot.
The shooting is being looked into. According to police, no arrests have been made as of yet.
